When will the doctor see me?
Upon admission, our standard protocol ensures that doctors typically visit within 24 hours. Your assigned nurse will facilitate effective communication regarding any medical concerns with your doctor both before and after their visit, ensuring comprehensive care and timely attention to your needs.
How often will I have therapy?
Upon admission, most patients will begin rehabilitation within 24 hours, tailored to their condition and admission timing. Our therapy sessions are available up to five times per week, ensuring timely and comprehensive care to support your recovery journey.
How long is a typical stay?
At Crystal Ridge Care Center, we recognize that every patient’s journey is distinct and requires personalized attention. Our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), consisting of nurses, therapists, and dietitians, conducts weekly reviews to assess patient progress comprehensively. Our primary objective is to empower you to achieve your highest level of independence through tailored care and support.
Are activities available?
We provide a diverse range of daily activities catering to various interests. You’ll find an activity calendar conveniently posted in your room for easy reference. What is your dining program like?
At Crystal Ridge Care Center, we take pride in our comprehensive dining program, overseen by our dedicated full-time, in-house Registered Dietician. Expect tailored diets designed to meet your individual needs and preferences, ensuring a fulfilling dining experience that promotes your overall well-being.
Do I need to bring in my medications?
No, there is no need for you to provide medications unless explicitly instructed otherwise. Upon admission, we take the initiative to order your medications through our trusted off-site pharmacy. Subsequently, we securely store them on-site, prioritizing safety and ensuring seamless access when needed.
What type of clothing items should I bring?
We highly recommend bringing a pair of comfortable shoes and ensuring you have at least seven days’ worth of comfortable clothing, including pajamas and undergarments. This ensures your comfort and convenience during your stay with us.
Can I bring personal belongings?
Absolutely! We enthusiastically encourage you to bring personal items that hold sentimental value, such as family photos, blankets, and decorative pieces. Anything that will contribute to making your stay with us more comfortable and feel more like home.
How do you protect patients, staff, and visitors from COVID-19 and other infectious diseases?
Our team is highly trained and experienced in caring for high-acuity patients and infectious diseases like COVID-19. Our dedicated infection prevention nurse helps ensure we follow current infection prevention guidelines and best practices. This includes educating all staff about the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95 masks, surgical masks, gloves, and gowns and when to use COVID-19 protocols required by local department of public health and/or the CDC.
